CDS Exam Rules

  • Duration: 60-90 minutes
  • Each page must contain your name, surname, and matriculation number
  • Achieving 40-50% of the maximum score will be sufficient to pass the exam
  • During the final exam, you are allowed to use a pen, paper, and a simple (non-programmable) pocket calculator.
  • The final exam is open book, meaning that you are allowed to consult exclusively paper material (physical course books, printed/handwritten notes). Any electronic device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, etc.) is prohibited.
  • Only answers written in permanent ink will be considered.
  • In case of sickness, an email has to be sent before the start of the exam to the professor. An electronic version of a medical certificate has to be provided by the end of the exam day by email. The original should be sent by postal service.
  • Any requests for „Nachteilsausgleich“ must be submitted by the exam registration deadline.
